The employer map · Forsyth County
Jobs in Cumming
Cumming's jobs split between the hospital, the food processors, the county school district, and the retail and services rooms along the GA 400 corridor. The county's economic development partnership, Forward Forsyth, publishes the employer list this page starts from.
The honest note: many Forsyth County residents commute south on GA 400 to North Fulton and Atlanta jobs, and the corridor in both directions sets the daily rhythm.

The public and retail rooms
Forsyth County and the City of Cumming together employ a broad public workforce from the courthouse, city hall, and the county offices, and the retail and service rooms at the Collection at Forsyth, Market Place Boulevard, and Lakeland Plaza add the storefront jobs. The current employer lists and opening counts live on the Forward Forsyth site.
For the commute side, GA 400 runs both ways: workers drive north to the lake-county developments as well as south to the North Fulton campuses, and the express lane toll is the everyday pricing question.
