The working list

Filter the regional calendar to Augusta

The regional events calendar is the working list for Augusta: filter it by city and category, and anything dated there has cleared the check against the organizer or the official source. When Augusta events are confirmed for a given week, they land there and on the this-weekend page.

What runs the year

The Augusta calendar, by season

The Masters, early April

Masters week runs the first full week of April at Augusta National, a private club. Attendance is by advance ticket only through the official application process; the course is not open to the public. The official source is masters.com.

Arts in the Heart of Augusta, September

The Greater Augusta Arts Council's annual downtown arts festival, held the third weekend of September, with a Global Village of food, juried artists, and live music stages.

Augusta Market on the River, Saturdays

The farmers and artisan market at the 8th Street Plaza on the Riverwalk, Saturday mornings from the third Saturday of March through November.

First Friday, monthly

The monthly downtown evening of gallery openings, music, and restaurant specials on the first Friday of the month, organized by downtown businesses and volunteers.

GreenJackets baseball, spring through summer

Home games at SRP Park across the river in North Augusta, South Carolina, April through the summer season; the official schedule is on milb.com.

Theater and music season

The Miller Theater, the Imperial Theatre, and Le Chat Noir run the performing arts calendar year-round; each venue's own site is the source for dates and tickets.

The honest note

No invented dates

Nothing here is hard-coded from a past week. Events are added as they are verified against the official source and retired once they have run, so a quiet filter means a quiet week, said plainly.
