Chicago's Pizza is Demorest's dependable pizza table, a locally owned room on the old Historic US-441 strip that does deep-dish and thin-crust in the style its name promises. It is the family-dinner answer in a town that otherwise runs on campus food and country kitchens, with a full pizza and Italian menu that has kept the same loyal following for years.
The dining room sits on the old highway a short drive from downtown and the university, with easy parking and a takeout counter that stays busy on game nights and Fridays. Hours are posted on the restaurant's site; call ahead for pickup if you are feeding a group.
What it serves: Lunch and dinner.
