The Downtown Atlanta Guide
Downtown Atlanta is the historic center: the state capitol, the stadium district, the hotel towers, and the park-and-attractions core of Centennial Olympic Park. It is where the city's biggest draws concentrate, from the Georgia Aquarium to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
For visitors it is the densest, most walkable pocket of the city, with MARTA's Five Points and Peachtree Center stations underneath it and the downtown connector running through the middle.

Downtown living is the high-rise version of Atlanta: condos and apartments in the hotel and office district, with MARTA at your doorstep and the attractions and stadiums a walk away.
