The Buckhead Guide
Buckhead is Atlanta's most affluent business and retail district, the north-side neighborhood built around Peachtree Road's shopping spine and the high-rise office and condo towers behind it. Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza anchor the retail, and the residential streets fan out into some of the city's most established homes.
It is a neighborhood of two speeds: the polished, car-friendly shopping and dining core, and the quiet, heavily wooded residential streets that give Buckhead its reputation as a place to live as much as a place to shop.
