Braselton is the small town where wine country and a world-class race track share one downtown, straddling four counties north of Gwinnett. This is the honest list of real places, most of them open to the public without a ticket.
1. Chateau Elan Winery and Resort
The winery estate on the city's south edge with vineyard tastings, tours, golf, and the resort grounds. It is the reason people first hear the town's name.
2. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
The professional road course on the Winder Highway with race weekends through the year, capped by Petit Le Mans each fall, plus a motorsports museum on site.
3. Historic downtown Braselton
The early-1900s storefronts along the square hold locally owned shops, restaurants, and the Town Green, with The 1904 anchoring one corner in the original mercantile building.
4. Braselton Farmers Market
Friday evenings in the warmer months on the Town Green with produce, baked goods, and artisans. The parking deck keeps it an easy stop.
5. Braselton Park
The city park at the center of town, the everyday green for a walk or a picnic off the square.
6. Braselton Mulberry RiverWalk
The naturalized trail system along the Mulberry River north of I-85, with a 4.4-mile out-and-back route. It is the city's growing outdoor signature.
7. West Jackson Park
The big sports park on the Jackson County side with ball fields and playgrounds, where the weekend games live.
8. Fort Yargo State Park
The 1,816-acre state park a short drive toward Winder with the 1790s fort, a lake, hiking, fishing, and camping. It is the region's dependable outdoors option.
9. The downtown table
Cotton Calf Kitchen in the converted historic storefront, Jack's Local Station, Cork It for the wine bar, and The Galloping Galette for the sweet finish.
10. The Enterprise Roller Mill museum
The downtown museum preserves the old mill's original equipment and the town's mercantile history, a compact stop when the shops close.
