The Snellville Fall Festival is the city's October anchor on the Towne Green: a free community festival in front of City Hall, usually run from around noon to the early evening on a fall Saturday. The city of Snellville hosts it, so the city's event page posts the exact date and hours each year.
What runs at the festival
- A craft market with more than seventy arts, crafts, and handmade goods vendors lining Oak Road and the Senior Center side.
- Food and drink vendors on the green, including the festival crowd-pleasers and a beer and wine tent.
- Live entertainment on the stage, with a free concert as the evening closer.
- Costume contests for all ages plus a dog costume contest.
- A cake and pie baking contest judged through the afternoon.
- Trunk-or-treat and a kids zone with paid all-day wristbands covering the bounce houses, rock wall, trackless train, and mini golf.
How to do it in an afternoon
Admission is free and the craft market is free to walk; the kids zone wristband is the one paid item of the day. Arrive before the entertainment line builds, park in the cleared lots around the Senior Center side, and buy wristbands early for the little ones. The farmers market runs its own Saturdays at the same green through the warm months, so a quiet fall trip needs no festival at all.
